Description

Our organic St. John's wort hydrolate for pharmaceuticals is obtained from the species Hypericum Perforatum. The product is offered under the name St. John's wort Organic Hydrolat for Pharmaceuticals. The plantations develop in Bulgaria under an organic cultivation regime. The Clusiaceae family brings together species in which the flowering organs retain the volatile compounds and thus determine the aromatic direction of the finished liquid. The flowers that the plant develops in its upper part go into the distillation. Steam distillation leaves a limited volatile fraction in the aqueous phase, so the strength of the scent remains mild. The translucent glands in the floral organs are built as a subepidermal cavity and retain the volatile substances of the species. The color ranges from colorless to pale yellow without intermediate deviations. The light tone comes from the floral mass, which releases few coloring substances into the aqueous phase. Organic cultivation maintains a simple composition, which is why only an aqueous medium and volatile compounds are present in the liquid, while preservatives and colorants have no place. The aroma follows a herbal line with a warm and slightly sweet nuance at the end. The herbal line stands at the very front, while the warm and sweet nuances line up behind it and complement the overall aromatic character of the finished distillate. In its external features, the hydrolate is a clear liquid with a light tone. The secretory cells, cavities and ducts of the species accumulate the volatile substances that later shape the aromatic side of the distillate. The mild aromatic strength and the light appearance are due to the same floral raw material, since it releases few substances into the aqueous medium. St. John's wort reaches its final form as a light liquid with a mild herbal tone and a warm nuance.

Application
The use of this organic St. John's wort flower hydrolate covers the development of liquid solutions for external application that maintain skin comfort and support restorative processes. It finds a place in sterile aqueous solutions with a purified base and controlled quality, as well as in compositions for local application with a soothing effect on the treated areas. It is suitable for skin care formulas that maintain the hydration, softness and natural balance of the skin, and its mild profile makes it an appropriate choice for products intended for sensitive skin, where it is important to keep irritation to a minimum. In pharmaceuticals, it is also used in the creation of compress solutions with a cooling effect, preparations for gentle skin cleansing and liquid compositions for dermal use that maintain the cleanliness and freshness of the skin surface. Its aqueous base allows easy application, even distribution and good absorption, which is an advantage in solutions with controlled concentration that require precise application. In addition, it is part of formulas for external care that support the skin barrier and contribute to maintaining elasticity and comfort with regular use.
